ASX Feature Server

Deployed worldwide by leading carriers, ISPs and cable MSOs, the Sonus Networks ASX™ Feature Server includes a set of basic call functions, as well as, a comprehensive menu of advanced calling services for consumers and small businesses.

The ASX provides a common set of subscriber services over any access technology, such as voice-over-wireless, voice-over-DSL, voice-over-cable and Ethernet. Built for scalability, reliability and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) services, the ASX supports packet connectivity to a variety of integrated access devices (IADs), gateways, next generation digital loop carriers (DLCs), softphones and other Internet Protocol (IP) endpoints.
 

The ASX supports a rich set of call features that can be combined into a virtually unlimited number of unique, competitive services such as call privacy, call forwarding, call back and multiparty calling.

The ASX also supports:

• SOHO/small business features, such as dialing plans, authorization calls and hunt groups
• Advanced consumer features, such as customer call waiting, distinctive ringing, find me/follow me, click-to-dial, speed dial and do not disturb
